Venue: Craven Cottage Referee: Lee Probert Date: Saturday 2nd of November
The Cottagers will be without Hugo Rodallega and Matthew Briggs for today’s tough home fixture. Influential defender Brede Hangeland remains doubtful. Manager Martin Jol is likely to stick with Darren Bent and Dimitar Berbatov up front, while Kacaniklic could be preferred in midfield over Bryan Ruiz.
Manchester United have Danny Welbeck and Darren Fletcher as the confirmed absentees. Marouane Fellaini is likely to start alongside Michael Carrick in midfield – replacing the equally unimpressive Tom Cleverley. Manager David Moyes must consider whether Javier Hernandez deserves a starting birth after his recent goal-scoring form.
Fulham are coming off the back a 4-3 defeat to Championship side Leicester City in the Capital One Cup. The side also lost to Southampton 2-0 prior to the cup game. Jol is under intense pressure as the London outfit are currently enduring a lukewarm start to the season.
Manchester United have started to enjoy an upturn in form, with victories against Stoke City & Norwich in the league and Capital One Cup respectively. They also boast a flawless recent record against Fulham – winning their last six meetings.
- Fulham (4-4-1-1): Stekelenburg, Riether, Senderos, Amorebieta, Richardson, Kasami, Parker, Sidwell, Kacaniklic, Berbatov, Bent
- Manchester United (4-2-3-1): De Gea, Rafael, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, Carrick, Fellaini, Januzaj, Rooney, Nani, Van Persie

Venue: Upton Park Referee: Howard Webb Date: Saturday 2nd of November
For West Ham United; Matt Taylor, Alou Diarra, James Collins, Andy Carroll, Ricardo Vaz Te and Stephen Henderson are all confirmed absentees. Mladen Petric and James Tomkins are doubtful for the clash, so manager Sam Allardyce is hardly spoilt for choice with his squad.
The Villans are short of options at left-back, with Antonio Luna and Joe Bennett both ruled out of action, meaning centre-back Nathan Baker could deputise in their absence. Forward Gabriel Agbonlahor is also doubtful, meaning Lambert will most likely give the out-of-form Andi Weimann a start.
The home side find themselves in poor form of late, with just one win in their last eight games. The Hammers are in 15th place with 9 points from 9 games and are likely to once again be without a recognised striker. West Ham’s home form has been below par this campaign – with three defeats from four outings at Upton Park.
Aston Villa’s recent form has also been lacking. The Midlands outfit have failed to score in their last three league games, with their most recent PL victory coming at the end of September. However, Villa boast a good run of form on their travels – with the side having taken 7 points from a possible 12.
- West Ham (4-2-3-1): Jaaskelainen, Rat, Reid, Tomkins, Demel, Nolan, Noble, Jarvis, Morrison, Downing, Diame
- Aston Villa (4-2-3-1): Guzan, Lowton, Vlaar, Clark, Baker, El-Ahmadi, Delph, Bacuna, Tonev, Weimann, Benteke

While we were still drooling over the brand’s gorgeous new Cosmic collection (Aries!), Charlotte Olympia slipped in six playful (and adorable!) designs for girls.
Aptly timed to designer Charlotte Dellal‘s third pregnancy, the Incy line (get it? Incy, Wincy, Spider) features everything from velvet Kitty and Spider flats to leopard print booties that range from $125 to $395.
So now fashion-obsessed moms can match their daughters or sons (seriously, how cute is this pic Dellal posted?) for every occasion.
“I always thought I’d design little shoes for little people as soon as I had a girl,” Dellal told Vogue UK.
“However with two boys now and a third child on the way, I decided to finally launch Incy regardless. Maybe I’ll have a girl this time!”
Okay, we admit, these pint-size shoes are pretty pricey. But the company is donating 10 percent of the first month’s sales to Art Start, a N.Y.C. that helps nurture at-risk youth through creative workshops. Plus, each pair comes with a coloring book and crayons. And they’re really, really pretty.
Available now, you’ll find the collection exclusively online and at certain Charlotte Olympia boutiques.
Sasha Alexander is soaking up the sibling bond between her two children.
“It’s really fun to watch the kids interact and fight and just provoke each other,” the Rizzoli & Isles star tells PEOPLE. “There’s a whole dynamic there that I’m sort of glad I didn’t have – but it’s really fun to watch as a parent!”
In an effort to keep the peace between her kids – Lucia Sofia, 7, and Leonardo Fortunato, 2 – the actress is enforcing a new household rule that she hopes will deter her daughter from pushing her baby brother’s buttons.
“Lucia can be very nurturing to him, she’s a very loving and kind little girl … She can also know how to prod him exactly the way that would make him cry the whole ride home,” Alexander, 40, explains.
“My whole thing now is, okay, if you’re going to do that to him, then you’re going to take care of him for the rest of the day. Like, if you’re going to make him cry, then you’re going to take care of him.”
As the daughter of an actress, Lucia has quickly learned the secrets behind the big screen – and seems to have no problems with recognizing a little movie magic.
“I viewed E.T. for her the other day, which was a huge deal for me because it was such an impact on my life. I was really excited about it and it got to the part where E.T is going to die and I’m crying,” Alexander says.
“My daughter looks at me and she goes, ‘Mommy, did they paint him white?’ [I said,] ‘Did who paint him white?’ She said, ‘The movie people.’ I couldn’t believe [it]!”
As for Leonardo, his latest milestones have left Alexander and her husband Edoardo Ponti with a constant case of the giggles, as they teach their son the importance of pronunciation.
“The big thing is he likes cars and trucks, but he can’t say ‘t’ … that’s kind of the whole joke in the house right now. He likes cars and f–,” the actress says with laugh. “We’re practicing … ‘No Leonardo, it’s t-t-t-truck’ and he just … he can’t say it.”

A great leader has died – and within minutes, people who knew Nelson Mandela and many others, who only knew of his fight for freedom in South Africa and for people around the world, lit up social media sites like Twitter and Instagram to express their condolences and pay their respects.
Madela passed away Thursday at the age of 95.
“The founding President of our democratic nation has departed,” the current President of South Africa Jacob Zuma, using Mandela’s tribal name, said in an address to the nation. “He passed on peacefully in the company of his family … on the 5th of December 2013. He is now resting. He is now at peace. Our nation has lost its greatest son. Our people have lost a father.”

Amanda Bynes is making strides back to normalcy, following more than four months of inpatient treatment.
The former Nickelodeon starlet, 27 – whose lawyer Tamar Arminak told PEOPLE on Wednesday she is “feeling better every day” – was spotted on Thursday, strolling through Thousand Oaks, Calif., alongside her parents Rick and Lynn Bynes with two family dogs in tow.
The recovering actress was casually clad, sporting skinny jeans, Vans high-tops, sunglasses, a baseball cap and a white sweatshirt that said “Gang$ta Love.”
Bynes was forcibly hospitalized following a driveway-burning incident in July, but was eventually moved to a Malibu rehabilitation facility.
Moving forward, Arminak said Bynes is “now looking at various colleges with the intention of majoring in fashion design. She’s mentioned before she’s interested in creating a clothing line.”
The actress, who was estranged from her father at the time of her hospitalization, is, according to Arminak, now “very happy to reestablish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared.”

Since the show’s debut in 2010, Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss’s ‘Sherlock’ has only grown in popularity and critical acclaim. With superb acting – especially the incredible chemistry between Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson (played by Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, respectively) – fantastic writing, excellent set design, and a gorgeous musical score, the series has amassed its fair share of fans over the course of two seasons. Now, these “Sherlockians” eagerly await the return of Sherlock for Season 3, but unfortunately the air date still remains a mystery.
With the recent release of the Season 3 trailer as well as the inclusion of Sherlock in the trailer for Original British Drama, the hype for Season 3 has increased. With that said, I believe it’s time to look back over Seasons 1 and 2 and relive what makes Sherlock, with all its memorable characters – Sherlock, John, Mrs. Hudson, Lestrade, Molly, Mycroft, Moriarty, and yes, even Sally Donovan and Anderson – such an incredible show.
This is a list from best to worst episode, although with a show of this caliber, the “worse” episodes are still pretty great. Spoilers abound; you’ve been warned.

Anyone even remotely familiar with George R. R. Martin’s ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ novels and the epic TV show based on them is aware of the astonishing mortality rate of many of the central characters. As an avid lover of both the books and the show, I find this to be one of the most emotional and brilliant aspects of Martin’s world, having spent hours getting attached to these rich, interesting characters only to have my allegiance unexpectedly broken by their sudden, shocking and often gruesome demise.
I also found it incredibly difficult to write this piece without major spoilers for forthcoming episodes. But even for those who haven’t read the books, there’s a virtual gold mine of devastating and shocking kill-offs, with these being my top ten from the show so far.
10. Renly Baratheon
I’ll admit I feel as though I’ve only really included Renly for the sake of rounding out the list to an even ten. I never really felt as attached to him as several of the other characters in this list, therefore it was less of a crushing blow to me when he died. That being the case though, there’s no denying his death was certainly one of the more sudden and shocking of the second season.
Despite having fairly little screen time, Renly was a charismatic, charming character who played a fairly important role in the war until his shocking death at the hands of Stannis, Melisandre and their supernatural shadow assassin (that may very well have a proper title that I’ve missed in the books). While Renly’s death therefore wasn’t terribly upsetting to me, it was certainly a shocking kill-off that set Stannis up as a true contender for the Iron Throne, as well as hinting at the supernatural elements of Martin’s world that are often overlooked.
