Lea Michele Tweets Photo From the Set of ‘Glee’

Late last night, Lea Michele tweeted an understandably somber-looking photo from the set of Glee’s upcoming fifth season, which began filming this month in the wake of Cory Monteith’s death.

It was the latest tease of sorts from the 26-year-old actress; on Monday she also told fans she “couldn’t have picked a more beautiful & perfect song to start the year with,” without actually revealing the title.

Privacy is, of course, a big deal for the show as it tries to incorporate the loss of Monteith, who died in July of an overdose of heroin and alcohol, into its plot. Last month, the show’s creator, Ryan Murphy, told Deadline they’d shoot the first two episodes already written “so that people can physically go back to work.”

“We will then do an episode that will deal with the death of Finn’s character and follow that with a long hiatus,” he continued. “I don’t know how exactly we will come back, and we are trying our best with this attempt at damage control. We are planning a memorial for the cast and crew sometime this week on the Paramount lot.”

Michele dated Monteith on and off for years. On July 29, she thanked fans for “helping me through this time with your enormous love & support.”

“Cory will forever be in my heart,” she wrote.
